Made a tentavive booking for the church on April 24th - they had nothing on the entire April calendar except for the word "hold" penciled in on the 24th. I'll have a confirmation tomorrow or early next week if we're ok. Otherwise, the 17th it is.

We're working on sandblasting artwork for this weekend. Beyond stickers & masking tape, Pyg and I can cut some stencils in viynl to try. We'll bring some clipart books to the Tuesday weekly meeting to pick out a few things to cut. I was thinking of biohazard / radiation logos and maybe some letters for initialing.
I scouted out glassware - I'll bring a supply of 3 dozen glass pint glasses to blast for $3 each - proceeds go to the Squidwrench real estate fund. If you're interested in blasting one, please post #'s here so I get a rough count (especially if you want to make a set of 8 or something). If you want to bring other stuff to blast, feel free.
If you have any art you'd like to cut, bring a sample or post it here. Note - the level of detail for sandblasting is lower than t-shirt screen printing, so no fine detail please...
Forgot to post here - there were conflicts with the 24th so it's now Saturday the 17th from 10:30 - 5.
I can't do the 24th, collides with a hacker/maker con in RI (which doesn't mean you all can't have a good time, though the RI con might be of interest, http://www.quahogcon.org)
Very cool. Does anyone know what activities we'd like to have? Pyg/dr4gorn, is the wine bottle thing a possibility?
